St. Jude Catholic Church at 21689 Toledo Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33433 US - Homebound Ministry

Homebound Ministry

Visitation of the Homebound

Our priests and Eucharistic Ministers visit those who are homebound.  This assures those unable to be physically present in our parish that they are not forgotten and are an important part of our community.

Visitation of Nursing Homes

St. Jude Eucharistic Ministers provide Communion and solace to Catholics who are no longer able to come to Church for Mass.  Ministers visit these Catholics individually on Sundays and conduct Communion-Prayer services during the week.  Priests from St. Jude offer Mass weekly at most of these facilities.  Presently, St. Jude services ten Nursing-Retirement homes within its boundaries, including Whitehall, St. Andrews, Regents, and Edgewater Pointe.  Visits are made to Boca Raton Community Hospital and West Boca Hospital upon request.  There is always a need for volunteers to assist in this compassionate ministry.
