The Angel Jar
Don't forget to drop your spare change in the "Angel Jar." It's in the back of church and proceeds will benefit the church building fund. Thanks!
CURSILLO GROUP
A St. Jude Cursillo group meets each Sunday at 8:30 am in St. Jude Hall. Ultreya is held the first Friday of each month at 7 pm at St. Charles Church in Bloomington. Ellen Ross is St. Jude's Cursillo Coordinator. Call her at 879-4957, if you have questions.
St. Jude's Food Pantry
Keepig the shelves stocked at the local emergency food pantry is an ongoing job and St. Jude's continues to collect items each week throughout the year. The need now is very great, so please, leave your donations in the container marked in the church vestibule.
SPECIAL NOTE: Any food brand is acceptable and donations are not restricted to the weekly items suggested here. Check your cabinets - check your freezers (they have freezers for storage at the pantry), for items you can share. Specials are always offered at the local merchants. The pantry can always use toilet paper, laundry soap, bleach, face soap, deodorants, shampoos, and toothpaste. Food Stamp recipients are not allowed to use their stamps for those necessities. St. Jude's pantry volunteers deliver what items are left here, but donations can also be taken to the pantry offices at 751 East Franklin St., Spencer, IN. Thanks so much!
Pray the Rosary
In the face of "vicious violence" between Israelis and Palestinians, Pope John Paul II has urged Catholics around the world to keep praying the Rosary for peace in the Holy Land. The Pope notes that he proclaimed a year of the Rosary last Fall with two special intentions: peace in the world, with particular reference to the Holy Land, and the health of the family, which he said was seriously threatened in its fundamental values. Plan to join with other parishioners and PRAY THE ROSARY each Saturday in church at 4:30 pm and each Sunday after the 9:15 am Mass.

If you live in Owen County or come to church here on a regual basis, it is important that you register in the parish. Registration cards are in the church vestible. Please fil out one and give to Father after any Mass.
Our Mass Schedule:
Please note our Mass schedule change. Effective now, our weekday mass schedule will be Monday- NO MASS; Tuesday- 6pm; Wednesday- 6pm; Thursday - 12:30pm; Friday - 12:30pm.
