My name is Wendy Bowman and I have been teaching at St. Jude for eleven years. I have taught at the second, third and fourth grade levels as well as in Kindergarten, where I'm currently beginning my fifth year. I am a graduate of West Catholic High School, Grand Rapids Community College and Aquinas College. I obtained my BA from Aquinas with a Social Science major and a Reading minor. I have also taken several graduate classes at Western Michigan University. When I'm not teaching in the Kindergarten classroom, you can usually find me on the soccer field. I coach a travel team for the Soccer Club of Rockford and a Preschool/Kindergarten team at the YMCA. I also enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters, playing tennis, camping and hiking. St. Jude offers a one of a kind all day Kindergarten program focusing on individual student needs and enrichment opportunities. Parents can choose the schedule based on their child's readiness.
