Hello!  My name is Judy Doyle.  I am the Preschool Director and teacher at St. Jude’s.   I grew up on the east side of Detroit where I attended a Catholic elementary school and Catholic high school.  Aquinas College brought me to the western side of Michigan where I stayed and married and raised a family.  I love it here!!  

My teaching career began in East Grand Rapids where I did my student teaching and was hired to teach Kindergarten.   I also have taught preschool in the Kenowa Hills school district and in Jenison.   But, the highlight of my career has been at St. Jude’s!!  In 1991 I was hired to start the preschool!   St. Jude Parish and School hold a special place in my heart.  My husband and I were married here and raised our 3 children here.   Two of our 3 granddaughters were baptized here.  All of our children graduated from St. Jude’s.  I knew the staff well and was honored to become a part of this excellent team.

Teaching young children is my passion and I feel blessed to share in the lives of so many young families.   I have continued my education and have a Masters in Education with an Early Childhood endorsement from Western Michigan University.

My husband and I enjoy biking, dancing and listening to Irish music.  One of my fondest dreams is to write a children’s book with my daughter.
