Hola Padres (Hello Parents),
It is hard to believe it is the 2008-2009 school year. I would like to welcome you and your children to Spanish classes. I am adding to the St. Luke Web Page this year information for parents on basic Spanish vocabulary so you can help your children and also learn along with them. I will also be sending this information home with students. I hope you find this helpful and interesting.
I am pleased to share St. Luke's had one 8th Grade student pass the Spanish II entrance test for River Valley High School last year(2007-2008) and two others who achieved high scores just under the passing requirement of 70%. We continue to prepare middle school students(5-8) for that opportunity in high school.
