Absent: Kay Gehrke, Sue Ruhland, Sue Wickman

 

H&S Reps: Welcome to two three new reps: Dawn Jewell (Kindergarten), Kathy Heath (1^st grade), and Beth Accola (4K). Still need reps for grades 1, 4, 6, and 7. Krista will update the list and distribute to members. Cindy will invite 3K parents to attend H&S meetings, just for their information.

 

 

TREASURER’S REPORT: Deposits since the meeting in August totaling $89.25 were made from additional concession stand sales. There were no payments in the month. Total uncommitted funds = $6,965.43.

Brat Stand: Update: Ann called to reserve stand in May; was told it’s too early to schedule, and to call back in February.

 

Concession Stand: A huge THANK YOU to Linda Liegel and Sheryl Frank for running a very successful concession stand this summer!

H&S Meeting Dates: November 3, 2009; January 12, 2010; March 9, 2010; May 11, 2010

 

Fundraiser at November Parent/Teacher Conferences: Krista will have school apparel order forms (and some items) available for ordering/purchasing.

 

Homemade Spaghetti Dinner: Saturday, October 24, 2009; 5:30-8:00 p.m. Karen and Tracy will take care of ordering everything through Sysco or Phil’s. Karen will also place ad in the Home News/bulletin; Deb will hang flyers in businesses around town. Anyone willing to help cook that afternoon, please let Des or Cindy know, and they will let you know what time to be there.

 

 

Leftover candy from the concession stand will also be sold at the spaghetti dinner.

 

The 50/50 raffle will cost $1 per ticket or $5 for six tickets. Drawing will be at 7:30 p.m. No need to be present to win. Vicki and Jacqui are in charge of organizing the raffle.
