The mission of the Respect Life Ministry at St. Luke's parish is to support the Church's teachings regarding the sanctity, dignity and defense of all life from conception to natural death.  We will profess our faith of love and mercy through prayer, education, parishioner involvement and political action.

Under the direction of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, we will pursue these goals embracing a culture of life in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Our Vision:

Our vision is to make the Respect Life Ministry at St. Luke's a beacon of Our Father's love to the community.  Empowered by the Holy Spirit, the giver of life, we will work hard to encourage a deeper prayer life and provide education regarding the issues of abortion, cloning, stem cell research, natural family planning, chastity, capital punishment, euthanasia, suicide, social justice and quality care for the aged, sick and dying.  We will strive to establish a network directory of organizations as a referral resource.  We will reach out to all those in need and offer assistance.
