St. Vincent de Paul is a cooperative outreach of St. Ambrose and St. Mary's to the poor and needy of both parish communities and to the community of Madison County. Food, clothing, furniture, appliances, household supplies, and financial assistance are available to the needy of the community. St. Vincent de Paul solicits financial assistance once a month at both parishes. Your financial support along with your contributions of food, bedding, furniture, appliances, and household supplies are essential to the ministry of St. Vincent de Paul.
Serving in this ministry provides many different opportunities for serving the poor in the community. Volunteers are needed to work at the warehouse, picking up donated household goods, furniture and appliances, making home visits, or collecting monetary donations once a month at one of the parishes. A short orientation program is required of all who directly serve the poor.
