St. Mary's at 1115 Pearl St., Anderson, IN 46016 US - Youth Groups

The High School and Middle School Youth Groups provide catechetical, social and service opportunities for high school and middle school aged youth.  "Life Teen" is used for the high school program and "Edge" is used for the middle school program.  Adults plan, implement and facilitate the activities. 

Serving in this ministry involves a commitment to help with one or more activities.

Confirmation Preparation
An adult Confirmation catechist meets with high school youth candidates and provides catechesis to help them prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. 

Serving in this ministry involves preparing catechesis for at least one of the sessions, using provided resources and direction from the Staff Resource person.  In addition, the catechist should be present for a Penance Service during Lent, a Retreat, and the Confirmation Rite.
