St. Mary's at 1115 Pearl St., Anderson, IN 46016 US - Usher/Greeter

An Usher/Greeter welcomes members of the assembly arriving at weekend Masses and assists them in finding a place in the assembly when necessary.   Ushers also take Mass attendance numbers, collect the stewardship offerings during Mass, arrange for assembly members to take up the gifts, assist the assembly members during the Communion Rite, and restore the order of the worship space prior to the next liturgy.

Serving in this ministry involves having a friendly, welcoming, and helpful attitude.  Currently, Ushers/Greeters are scheduled as a member of a team for a weekend Mass every 2nd or 3rd month.
