Do you have your own garden? Has God been providing an abundant harvest that you don't know what to do with? If you have extra nutritious vegetables and fruits, think about donating them to the hungry at the Office of Human Services; it is temporarily located in the church hall at Mt. St. Joseph Church in St. Louis. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
Another option is to bring those vegetables and fruits to both parishes before the weekend Masses. Every Monday, the Office of Human Services collects them from the foot of the Blessed Mary statue at St. Mary's and by the baptistery in St. Louis.
