What is the Auction?

The annual St. Mary’s Auction is a fundraiser to support the school and it’s technology program. The Auction is a casual

attire, one-night, adult-only function which includes dinner, raffles, silent

auction and an exciting live auction.  This year the auction will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the The Grecian Center in Southgate, MI. This year’s theme is "Auction Abroad"

 

What are the goals for the Auction?

There are two primary goals of the Auction:

  1. This is an opportunity to raise money.   

       The funds raised are considerable

       and are of great benefit to our school.

   2. This is an opportunity for all parents,

       alumni, faculty, parishioners and

       outside members of our community to 

 

       celebrate our common interest in the education 

       of our children.

 

Who coordinates and organizes the Auction?

The Auction is an event organized by our Auction Committee, which is made up of parent volunteers. While the Auction Chairs do much of the basic planning and foundational work, it is the work of numerous parents that is essential in making this massive undertaking a success. We are in need of parents to help us. If we all do some of the work, the burden will not fall on a few. Your help is vital in reaching our goal.

 

How much will the tickets cost?

Early Bird Tickets @ $45/per person (until October 15th)
Tickets @ $50/per person (between Oct. 16th & Nov. 2nd)
Tickets @ $55/per person (after Nov 3rd)

 

How can I help make a donation or purchase advertising in the Auction Program?

 

 

All contributions are welcome.  You may donate items to the

Auction by completing the donation form.  The completed

forms and items can be brought to the school or parish office.  

our Auction members.You may also contribute by writing a check payable to St. Mary’s School and taking it to the school or parish office.

 

If you would like to place an ad in our Auction program please request and advertising form from the school office. Or click here for Downloadable Forms. In addition to donating items or purchasing ad space, you can help make the Auction a success by donating a portion of your time. We have jobs large and small. If you would like to find out how you can help, attend an Auction meeting or call one of the members of the Auction Committee.
