Sacrament Information

Sacrament of Baptism Arrangements for infants must be made in advance. Expectant/new parents are required to attend a preparation class prior to the Baptism. Arrangements for adults must also be made in advance. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) classes are held from September to Easter for those who have been baptized in another Christian tradition or have never been baptized and desire to become Catholic. For infant and adult Baptisms, please contact Jennifer Nelson at (517) 484-5331.

Sacrament of Penance    Saturday: 2:30 P.M. - 3:45 P.M.
Communal Penance Service on special occasions.

Sacrament of Matrimony To help couples prepare for an enriching life in a marriage relationship, couples should contact the parish office as soon as they make a decision to marry, and at least nine months prior to the proposed date of the marriage. (Policy of the Catholic Church, Province of Michigan) If either party has been previously married there is a required procedure that must be followed to obtain a Declaration of Freedom to marry again in the Catholic Church. For more details on Annulments read the articles on the "About" page of the Diocese of Lansing site or contact either Fr. Bernard Reilly or Fr. Jeffrey Njus at (517) 484-5331.

Care of the Sick Persons unable to attend Mass are asked to contact the parish office so that Eucharist may be brought to them at home. Families and friends are asked to notify the parish office with the names of parishioners who are hospitalized. Holy Communion is brought regularly to the homebound on First Fridays and prior to Christmas and Easter. The communal Anointing of the Sick is held yearly in the fall. To be anointed before surgery, please contact the parish office. In case of emergency, call anytime.
