Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist: Volunteers who are in good standing in the parish, who are examples of Christian living in faith and conduct; who strive to grow in holiness through this sacrament of unity and love, and who hold a deep reverence for the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist, may contact the pastor in order to serve as an extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist. Training and literature of the ministry is given out, and volunteers are scheduled to serve at either Saturday or Sunday Mass once a month or more depending on the number of volunteers available. A monthly schedule is inserted in the bulletin at the beginning of each month and the weekend schedule is printed in the bulletin.
