St. Mary’s Stewardship Committee was originally formed to organize, advertise and oversee the We Belong to Christ Campaign for the parish and consisted of three chairmen and the pastor. It soon developed into a larger committee who’s responsibility it is to oversee the Stewardship of the whole parish. This group is now committed to increasing the Stewardship life of the parish in all three areas of Time, Talent and Treasure. We welcome any new ideas or suggestions and continue to give thanks to God for all the blessings He has bestowed on our parish.
We Belong to Christ Campaign UpdateTotal pledges turned in to the We Belong to Christ 5 year Campaign amount to $174,420, by 61% of the parish. Total pledge payments made as of June 30 amount to $41,930.75 Of this total 20% will remain with the diocese and 80% has been deposited in our savings account. The Diocese of LaCrosse is sending out periodic reminders for your convenience. Please send in your payments with the reminder card in the envelope provided. If you have any questions, please contact the parish office 425-5806 or the parish secretary 273-3577.If you haven’t pledged yet, we urge you to join the other 61% of the parish and pledge to support St. Mary’s and the Diocese of LaCrosse. God never asks more of us that what we have - Count your blessings, acknowledge God’s gifts to you and express thanks to Him in praise. Honor God with our first fruits—He will not be outdone in generosity.
