Dear Parents,

What a wonderful surprise party the class gave me yesterday! They really made my birthday extra special. Thank you!!

 

Our field trip to the Koch Children’s Museum is next Friday. All permission forms and money were due this week. We will leave at 8:00 a.m. and we will eat at the Museum at about 11:30. We should be back at school at approximately 1:00 p.m. Your child will need to bring a sack lunch and the students may bring a candy bar and soda (no larger than 20 ounces, please). A cooler will be provided for the drinks.

 

 

Religion: Chapter 10 “We Receive Holy Communion in the Liturgy of the Eucharist”; Quiz on Friday 11/13.

Social Studies: Chapter 3 “A Time of Exploration”

Math: Continuing Chapter 4 “Division”

Science: Reports on arthropods due Friday 11/13

English: Continue Chapter 5 “Verbs”

Spelling: Unit test on Friday 11/13

Reading: “The Fear Place”; Skill – Predict/Infer; Vocabulary Quiz on Thursday 11/12

 

 

11/7 – Market Day delivery in Gathering Hall

11/8 – Smorgasbord

11/9 – School Board meeting

11/10 – SPIRIT DAY!! Wear red, white, and blue for our special Veterans’ Day Mass and luncheon. The Kinders will lead the veterans in prayer/pledge at noon and grades 1-4 will have a program somewhere around 12:30.

11/11 – No school – Veterans’ Day

11/13 – DAR essays due; Grades 4 & 5 to Koch Children’s Museum from 8-1
