Reading: We will be reading a story called "The Best Pet".

Phonics Library Books: "Knock, Knock," "Miss Nell," and "Deb and Bess"

Phonics: Introducing the sound long a

Handwriting: n, o, p, q, r

Math: Writing 51-54, adding 2 to even and odd numbers, and numbering a clockface

Students' Grades:

You may start seeing an increase in mistakes on your child's work. I am slowly trying to get the students to do their own work. This will allow me to see their true understanding of the new material that is being taught. I am also starting to hold each child accountable for finishing and checking over their work before they turn it in.

Dressing for the Weather:
Our classroom is located right next to the boiler room, so we get all the HOT heat first. Please dress your child in layers. It gets quite hot inside, but they get very cold outside.
