Diocesan Youth Conference 2012

Diocesan Youth Conference is a day retreat planned at Cathedral Square on February 25th 2012. For the past three years, it has provided an opportunity for high-school age young people in our Diocese to come together and explore our Christian vocation (our call to holiness), strengthening the young people’s Catholic identity, and affirming our identity as Eucharistic people. This Youth Rally features famous singer, song writer, and actress Valimar Jensen as the Keynote Speaker. REGISTRATION STARTS NOW! ITS GO TIME! (registration attached here)

New Mass Translation Video
Use the link below to view a video presentation by Jim Penrice about our new Mass translation, produced by Erin Zacek. Find out why we needed to change from the paraphrased rendition we've had for forty years to an accurate translation, and the meaning of many ancient Mass texts we are now saying for the first time in English--though they have been there for centuries!

This link is to the St Marys youtube channel. You can pick and choose the videos you want to watch (they are broken up into installments for each part of the mass): http://www.youtube.com/user/stmarysspringlake?feature=mhee

This link is for a video playlist that will automatically play them all for people who want to watch Jim's talk in its entirety:
