 Life Teen at St. Matthew
We are joyfully in our 8th year as a Life Teen parish!
Here are some of the things we have going on...

Life Teen Mass    Sunday 5:30pm
Life Teen is our high school youth ministry program. At the heart of the ministry is the Life Teen Mass: the beauty of Christ in the Eucharist and Word combined with contemporary praise music and a homily that speaks to the lives of teenagers. Bring your family and join us each week as we joyfully celebrate!
Life Nights    Sunday 6:45-8:30pm
If you are in high school, be sure to plan on staying after the Life Teen Mass to join us for the Life Night. Life Nights are a fun and entertaining way to meet new friends, learn about the Catholic faith, serve others, deepen your prayer life, and grow in your relationship with our incredible God! Each night is different so be sure to check the calendar and upcoming events to find out more about coming nights. Life Nights generally take place in the Parish Center Family Room.
Annual Life Teen Retreat
Every Spring we take a weekend at nearby Camp Thunderbird for our Life Teen Retreat!
Just Cause Fast
Love service or mission work? Here is your chance to make a huge difference in someone's life! This annual Fall event has been a great success over the years. Teens raise money to support a specific cause each year and then fast (yes... that does mean not eating) for 29 hours while doing service at local organizations and learning about the cause they are supporting. In 2008, JC Fast participants paid for and built a Habitat for Humanity house for a local family!
Eucharistic Adoration
St. Matthew is blessed to be able to offer Eucharistic Adoration from 9am Mass Friday to 9am Mass on Saturday EVERY week. Find some time to spend with Christ in the Blessed Sacrament on your own or feel free to join other teens on Friday evenings.
Life Teen Summers
Although we do not have regular Life Nights during the summer, there are plenty of other exciting events to particiapte in. Some include: Life Teen Camp in GA, Stuebenville Atlanta Conference, Mission trips, Knights games, movie nights, and the annual end of summer Water Fight!
