MEXICO OUTREACH PROGRAM Thank you to St. Mel's Parish for the wonderful response to our new social justice program - Outreach to the poor in Mexico. By the end of 11:00 a.m Mass last Sunday, all 40 families had been sponsored by parishioners for our next drive scheduled for Saturday, December 10th, 2005. Non-perishable food items such as; rice, beans, canned & packaged foods, will be needed on an on-going basis. We're also aware that there is a 'Home Depot' and 'Costco' in the vicinity and gift certificates would be welcomed as we could purchase items in Mexico and/or have the sister church purchase items.
