Welcome to the Music Ministry of St. Mel's Catholic Church. You are invited to take part in an exciting journey of musical gifts and special events held at St. Mel's this season. Our musical offerings to our own parish and to the greater Flushing community, as well as specific ways in which you and your family can become directly involved in the active music ministry here at St. Mel's.

This parish has a long history of nurturing and supporting the musical arts, and we are pleased to continue this tradition. We will continue to "Worship the Lord in beauty and holiness," as we sing hymns and anthems that support our faith and are appropriate to our Catholic liturgy. Our purpose in all our offerings is to proclaim the glory and splendor of God in our life.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Rudolf Albert as a cantor to our music staff. He has several years experience with Catholic music as well as piano studies. We are delighted to have him and look forward to his leadership.
