In 1994, some parents of St. Mel parish formed the Family Mass Committee. The purpose was to become more active in the Liturgy, to assist the priests in sharing God's Good News, and to encourage the participation of all parishioners in the celebration of the Eucharist. This goal is achieved through activities during the Mass that are related to the gospel message and hands-on participation by our families. It is our hope that this will help enrich the spiritual life of individuals and strengthen our extended family - the parish. The success and continuation of any group can only be achieved through the sharing of gifts and talents. Please accept this invitation to share yours with us!
