St. Mel Office Of Faith Formation at 154-24 26 Avenue, Flushing, NY 11354 US - An Ongoing Journey with the Lord

Through our Baptism and Confirmation, we are called to deepen our relationship with God and preach the Good News by word and deed. This formation is a lifelong process and should never end. Parish children are raised in the faith within their family life and more formally through the Catholic School or School of Religion. After Confirmation, teens have an opportunity to continue this formation through LIFE TEEN (opportunity to use their gifts within the parish and to get together with other Catholic teens). The Catholic Church offers many opportunities for its adult lay members to continue this journey - a variety of spiritual enrichment and education via The Prayer Channel, Faith Formation Courses, Lay Leadership Training etc. St. Mel parish is pleased to offer many different spiritual experiences for its parish family and interested friends. Some of these offering include Parish Missions, Evenings of Reflection, Scripture and Doctrine Seminars, and the Giving Tree to name a few. Keep checking our calendar for upcoming events.
