Welcome!
On behalf of our pastor, Father Stephen Vileo, and the men, women and children our our parish, we extend our warmest welcome. May God's blessing be upon us all and bring us peace in the Risen Christ. Thank you for joining us. Having celebrated our sesquicentennial in 2002, we have embarked upon our next 150 years of service to God and man. Our parish was created on September 29, 1852, when the leader of the Redemptorist priests in America blessed the Harleston house, our first church. Since those humble beginnings, we have built a grand church, a lovely school with numerous additions and a fine parish house. By the way, if you would like more information on our parish school, please visit the Saint Michael School website.
We are very proud of our heritage, and we look forward our continuing roles as champions of Christ and partners in faith. This is our home on the Internet. Here you will find the latest news and information about Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, home to 1200 faithful families in Monroe, Michigan, USA. Please take a moment to learn "ABOUT" us (the button on the left) or visit the online Calendar for upcoming events and our NEWS page for lots of featured articles on topics ranging from abortion to education. Visitors are invited to sign up for our online mailing list for special news and announcements. We hope you enjoy your visit and encourage you to check back often for updates! Thank you for visiting and may the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.
