Program Fee Registration Requirements Gr. 1 & New Students Gr. 2 - 8 Confirmation I & II
The deadline for all registrations is June 30. Please note that there will be no fall registration. No student will be placed in a classroom after the deadline, with the exception of families who are new to Stoneham or new to Saint Patrick Parish.
The program fee is set annually by the Parish Finance Committee. All fees help to defray Religious Education expenses, including staff, classroom materials, crafts, workshops, sacramentals, certificates, refreshments for class events, guest speakers, copies, postage, etc.
1 Child: $100
2 Children: $175
3 or more Children: $200 max.
Confirmation Fee: For Grade 10, $50 to cover the cost of the retreat and gowns
Lost Book Fee: $15
If you are unable to pay the program fee, please contact the Religious Education Office.
Registration Requirements
The completed registration form, yellow emergency form, and a deposit of $25 dollars per child is required at registration. Incomplete registrations will be returned to the parent.
Before being allowed to register for the next year, all children must meet the requirements of the current year, without excessive unaddressed absences, and must exhibit appropriate, respectful behavior.

Requirements for Grade 1 and all Children New to the Program: Registrations for First Grade and for all children who are new to the program are held in person and must include a copy of the child’s Baptismal certificate, unless the child was baptized here at Saint Patrick Parish.
1st Grade or new registrations received without a Baptismal certificate cannot be processed and will be returned to the parent for completion.

Requirements for Grades 2 through 8: Students must successfully complete the requirements of each grade, before advancing to the next grade. Children in grades 2 and up are expected to know the following prayers:

Confirmation I and Confirmation II Requirements
Grade 8 and Grade 9 students in our program must pass an exam before being allowed to register for Confirmation I and II, respectively. Please note that the registrations for Confirmation I and II will not be accepted without this requirement.
Children attending Catholic High School are required to complete Confirmation II only. Subsequently, Catholic School students are not required to take the Confirmation I exam.
Please note that in addition to the registration fee of $100, for Confirmation II there is an additional fee of $50 to cover the cost of the Confirmation retreat and gowns.
