 If you are a parent of a four year old or young-five child, we urge you to take advantage of a Catholic preschool.   We are proud of our experience and success in nurturing and challenging young children. o         The High/Scope curriculum stands out from others because of the depth of solid research supporting it. 

o         The foundation of the curriculum is 58 key experiences which are the tools we use to observe and support each child’s development and progress.

o         This information is shared with parents on an ongoing basis and at Parent/Teacher Conferences.

o         The daily routine provides a predictable structure that gives children control and independence.

o         Children are active learners who learn best from activities that they themselves plan, carry out, and recall. This process is unique to High/Scope and significantly related to developmental progress.

o         Children are encouraged to become intelligent problem solvers as they learn to comprehend the world.

o         Our adult-child ratio is seven to one, allowing quality interaction.

o         A teacher visits each child before school begins, creating anticipation and familiarity.

o         Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a uniquely Catholic component of our program. This religious formation is Montessori based. Hands-on materials help make the mystery of God more concrete for young children.  

o         Our facilities include a playground, an open area for large motor activities in inclement weather, a generously equipped classroom, and a special environment for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
