The P.A. assists our priest by organizing the Liturgical Ministers and liturtgical items needed for weekend mass. Must be Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and have a sincere desire to help and serve the priest at Mass. Help is needed one weekend per month. There is one training session as well as "on the job training".
We need strong speaking voices to Proclaim the word of God during weekend and special liturgies (Lectors) and read the Welcome Introduction, General Intercession and Verbal Announcements (Commentators). Open to those 10 grade & above. One training session is required. Commitment is one Mass per month.
Altar Servers assist the priest and those gathered for worship during the weekend and special liturgies. Servers must be in 4th grade or higher. Training is offered as required. Servers are needed one weekend per month and should be committed, responsible, flexible, friendly and have a love for Jesus.
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are trained and formally mandated to assist in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at weekend liturgies. Open to anyone 10th grade & older who has been confirmed. Training sessions provided. Skills needed: Dependable and committed to serve one weekend Mass per month with a love for the Eucharist.
This is a ministry to welcome and greet each person that attends Mass each weekend. This is a great opportunity for families and friends to participate together and meet people from our parish community. Must have a willingness to help others and a friendly smile.
Ushers assist with seating accommodations, prepare for an orderly collection with offertory baskets, helps distribute bulletins, and tidy up the church for the next Mass. "On the job training" is provided.
