Administration Commission Ministries
Building & Grounds Committee: This group organizes "work bees" to assist our maintenance staff in keeping up our parish facilities.
Collection Counters: Count the weekend collections with a team and prepare the funds for deposit to the parish bank account.
Data Entry: Enter data into the parish computer system. One to two hours per week.
Kids Hope USA: Mentors develop a one-on-one relationship with a child at risk at Robinson School. Also need prayer partners to pray for mentor and child.
Technology Committee: Persons with knowledge of digital photography and graphic skills, willing to donate their time and talent in updating website content.
Job Seekers Program: The Job Seekers Office is looking for mentors and individuals to assist with networking events/ trainings.
Parish Mailings / Church Bulletins: One to two hour time commitment monthly. Labeling, stuffing, or partial folding of communication materials.
Pastoral Council: Advisory to the pastor and ensures that the parish is guided by the mission, vision, and core values of the parishes. Meets monthly, governs by consensus.
Finance Council: Consultative body that looks after the temporal affairs of the parish. Assists the administrative staff in the implementation of financial best practices.
 
Faith Formation Commission Ministry
Faith Formation Commission: We need passionate people willing to advocate, plan and oversee all Faith Formation Ministries. Meets monthly
Bible Studies: Experienced Bible study leaders needed in a variety of formats. Resources are provided.
Book C.L.U.B.'s : Host leaders are needed and all adults are invited to participate in an exciting monthly opportunity to learn about the Bible and experience Christian Community.
Children's Liturgy of the Word: Help our 4-6-year-olds experience the Word of God in an age appropriate manner during Sunday Liturgies.
CREW: It takes 50+ volunteers to lead our nearly 300 children in our Monday or Wednesday 4:15-5:30 PM program.
FOCUS Groups: Wednesday nights, 8:30-9:30 PM, we need adults willing to open their homes and host a group of High School teens in weekly Bible study. October - April.
Formation Event Host/Hostess: Prepare the room, greet and offer welcome/ hospitality and serve those coming to a special event. 1-2x a year.
Formation Event Helpers: Help in the kitchen with a special meal or set-up functions.
Freedom Team: 30 High School teens are needed to serve in our ROCK Middle School Ministry. Planning is Tuesday evenings and ROCK Nights are Wednesdays. September - May.
High School Life Teen: Adults are needed to serve in this dynamic weekly Sunday evening ministry to our High School teens. September - May.
Hispanic Ministry: Help us welcome our Hispanic brothers and sisters to area camps and meet their social and spiritual needs.
Holy Family Home Schools: Join other families involved in home school activities and find support.
Impact Team: 11th and 12th grade teens are invited to serve on Sunday evenings at Life Teen.
Little Fishermen Preschool: Our three day, morning, 4-5-year-old program is focused on the social, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth of our children.
Men's Breakfast: Help cook, set-up and/or plan our monthly breakfasts. October - March on the first Saturday of the month.
ROCK: 30+ adults are needed to staff our incredible ROCK nights for our middle school teens.
Scrip Program: This fundraising program supports Catholic education in the Tri-Cities. Involved businesses donate a percentage to either St. Mary’s School, a specific student or our parish community.
St. Mary's School: We partner with St. Mary’s Catholic School and advocate for this excellent opportunity for parish families. The school is K-8.
Unity Auction: Annual fundraiser to support Catholic education in the Tri-Cities Volunteers participate on a variety of levels.
Vacation Bible School: This action packed experience the last full week of June needs 100+ teens and adults to make it a success for our k-5th grades. You are needed!
 
Parish Life Commission Ministries
Funeral Luncheons: Prepare a dish for a funeral lunch and/ or assist with serving and clean-up.
MOMs Group: Mothers of Many Seasons. Fellowship of mothers of any age, or stage, of mothering providing spiritual, social, emotional and practical support.
Parish Festival: This annual event brings the parish community and the local communities together for four days of events that engage us in fun and fellowship.
Prime Time Singles: A group of men and women from St. Anthony’s, St. Patrick’s, St. Michael’s and St. Mary’s, ages 50+, who like to participate together in a variety of social events.
St. Patrick's Day Party: In honor of our patron saint, we gather for an evening of fun, fellowship, and Irish antics. A wonderful dinner is followed by dancing, raffles and green beverage.
Seder Meal: Join fellow parishioners for a two-hour ceremonial dinner.
Senior Luncheon: An opportunity for the senior (55+) members of our parish to socialize with fellow parishioners.
Sunday Coffee & Doughnuts: A great way to meet fellow parishioners over a cup of coffee or punch and doughnuts.
Sunday Nursery: The nursery is available for infants and children through three years of age at the 10:00 and 11:45 AM Masses.
Y.A.A.C.H.T. Club: Youthful Active Adult Christians Hanging Together. For singles 21 and over to come together for fun, activities and social camaraderie!
 
Parish Social Ministry Commission Ministries
Advocacy: We serve as a primary resource and catalyst for the works of local, national and international social justice ... being the voice for the voiceless.
Caring for God's Creation: The purpose of the ministry is to educate and encourage members of the parish on our call to care for God's created environment.
Crop Walk: An ecumenical "walk" for hunger. First Sunday in October.
Fair Trade: The fair trade committee partners with “The Bridge” to host an annual fair trade sale to promote global, just wages for hand-made articles. Fair trade coffee and chocolate are sold weekly after Sunday Masses.
Food Pantry: St. Patrick's and St. Anthony's food pantries are a collaborative effort of area churches and Love INC to provide food to the needy in the Tri-Cities.
Holiday Food Baskets: Holiday food baskets are distributed to our community for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Haiti Scholarship Fund: Provides scholarships for students from our sister parish, Sts. Simon & Jude, to continue their education beyond elementary level.
Haiti Twinning: Nurturing understanding, love and friendship between the St. Patrick / St. Anthony Catholic Community and Sts. Simon & Jude's Parish in Haiti. This group meets bi-monthly for about 1 hour and supports our twin parish through the Christian Service Tithe.
Jail Ministry: Join members of other Catholic parishes in Ottawa County ministering to inmates at the jail.
Migrant Outreach: Members of St. Patrick's and St. Anthony's volunteer for one-on-one visits and sacramental preparation.
Operation Rice Bowl: The rice bowl carries out the call from the church for fasting, almsgiving and prayer during Lent.
Project Window: Prisoners know that they are not forgotten through letter writing" that enriches the lives of both writer and receiver, anonymously.
Sanctity of Life: Promotes life from birth to natural death, including education and advocacy regarding the death penalty, stem-cell research, abortion, natural family planning, assisted suicides and end-of-life issues.
 
Pastoral Care Commission Ministries
Blood Pressure Clinics: This clinic requires volunteers to be health care professionals (RN, LPN, MD, DO, PA, DC, etc.) and attend annual inservice education.
Care & Consolation: Trained volunteers provide compassionate support to families who have lost a loved one. They coordinate the Mass of Remembrance once a year.
Care Team Drivers: Provides transportation for parishioners to medical appointments or other necessary destinations in the area.
Eucharistic Visitors: Eucharistic Visitors take the Holy Eucharist to the hospitals, nursing homes, rehab units, assisted living centers and private residences.
Couple to Couple League: Classes build an awareness of natural Family planning and the Church's teaching on artificial birth control.
Crisis Response Team: If you are certified in Critical Incident Stress Management and/ or have professional experience in Crisis Intervention, we would like to have you on our team.
Drug Court Gathering: Encourage those who are trying to overcome addiction with encouraging gatherings after court.
All Around Fitness and Fellowship: We offer everything from Yoga and Pilates to the Wii.
Health Committee: An advisory board for health ministries and Parish Nurse. Monthly meetings and assisting with planning / staffing health and wellness programs.
Marriage Preparation: Mentor / Sponsor couples are always needed to be placed with couples during the pre-marriage program. Training provided.
Ministry of Intercession: Members pray 10 minutes a day for the intentions of Father Bill.
Stephen Ministry: Lay people with 50 hours of training in topics and skills related to this ministry. Two year commitment.
Titus Women: Mentors to the MOMS Group and commit to attending one MOMs group per month.
Affirmation Ministry: Stand with the sick as Father Bill anoints them after Masses on the third Sunday of the month.
Visitation Ministry: Maintains and encourages a close connection with those unable to attend Mass due to illness or infirmity.
 
Stewardship Commission Ministries
Stewardship Commission: The Stewardship Commission has the task of helping us to grow in our understanding that all that we have, and all that we are, has been given to us by God.
Communications: Prepare articles, etc., for the weekly bulletin and seasonal newsletters.
Dave Ramsey Financial Peace: Assisting families with financial issues, Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace, is offered at varying times.
Celebration of Ministries: The focus of this group is the annual Celebration of Ministries and Commission fairs. This includes organizing the ministry booklet, mailer, and commitment forms.
New Parishioner Mentor: A parishioner or parish family connects with new parishioners and acquaints the new members with ministries and social activities and introduces them to other parishioners.
Stewardship of Treasure: Assists parishioners in discerning their gifts of treasure and practical ways to give.
Estate & Legacy Planning: Help others become informed about legacy planning.
 
Worship and Liturgy Commission Ministries
Altar Servers: Altar Servers assist the priest and those at worship on weekends and at special liturgies.
Ushers: Assist with welcoming, seating, collection, and distribution of bulletins.
Art & Environment Committee: Design and implement the décor of the liturgical seasons and other occasional liturgies.
Extraordinary Minister's of Holy Communion: Assist with the distribution of the Eucharist at liturgies.
Greeters: Welcome and greet each person who attends Mass.
Lectors / Commentators: Proclaim the Word of God, read the welcome come introduction, General Intercessions and announce ments at Mass.
Perpetual Eucharist Adoration: Adorers commit to spending one hour a week in prayer.
Prayer Line: Commit to pray for prayer line intentions.
Presiders's Assistant: Assists our priest by organizing the liturgical items and volunteers needed for weekend Mass.
Sacristans: Clean and maintain liturgical items.
St. Anthony's Altar Society: Clean and maintain liturgical items.
 
Music Ministries
Adult Choir: You do not need to know how to read music or have any previous choral experience.
Cantors: Cantors lead the assembly in the Responsorial Psalm and the Gospel Acclamation.
Children's Choir: Open to anyone in 1st-6th grade.
Instrumentalists: Proficiently play an instrument at liturgy.
Mixed Ensemble: Musicians able to commit to either 10 or 11:45 AM Mass.
Life Teen Band: Musicians needed to play at the Life Teen Mass.
