The Council of Catholic Women's purpose is to continually promote the importance of Catholic women uniting and speaking with one voice and taking action when the need arises. It emphasizes the importance of women being informed, interested, and involved; helping to make the Church truly visible in the world. The aims and goals of the Council of Catholic Women are: To unite all Catholic women; Increase membership so that all women may be involved in the work of the Church; Bring a greater sense of Christianity and morality to the modern world; Become an effective voice in determining civil, social, and religious justice for community, diocese, state, and nation; and, Provide a way through which the Holy Spirit may draw women together to share, to grow in faith, love, and trust in one another.
