For families with children in second grade, the year is a special one, with a journey to the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Communion. Your child must be registered in St. Rose School or with the Religious Education Program at the parish. If your child is not registered in either program and you want them to attend the Sacramental Programs, please contact Robbie in the Faith Formation Office at 577-7346. (If you have an older child who is still in need of these Sacraments, call the same number).

Dear parents,
      At St. Rose Parish, we are glad that you are bringing your children forward to receive the sacraments of reconciliation and Eucharist.  It is vital that we share our faith with our children and let them know of God's love and mercy that is offered to us through His son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
     Parents are the primary educators of the faith for their children.  Your example of coming to Mass every weekend and receiving the Eucharist, and frequently receiving the sacrament of reconciliation shows your children that this is a very important part of being a Christian.
    God calls us into a closer relationship with Him through prayer, reading of the Scritiptures, and the sacraments.  Thank you for taking this next step in your child's faith journey.  We are pleased that we can be a part of it, and help you lead your children closer to Jesus.
