We extend our sympathies to Fr. Pete at the death of his mother, Martha Pete.  The funeral Mass was at Christ the King Catholic Church in Medford, Monday, August 31^st  at 10:30 a.m.  Please keep Fr. Pete, and the entire family in your prayers.  May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

Fall dinners:  St. Mary's chicken Q is Sunday September 27.  St. Peter's roast beef dinner is Saturday, October 10th, and St. Joseph's swiss steak dinner is Sunday, October 18th. 

Tri-Parish Pastoral Council will meet on Thursday, Sept. 24th at St. Mary's at 6:30 PM

YOUTH ACTIVITIES

A youth leadership team composed of Fr. Pete, Karen Eich, Karen Wilkemeyer, Barb Mensink from St. Joseph, Mike and Mitchel Beckman from St. Mary's and Mary and Stephan Liehn has been meeting to plan events for the youth of our three parishes.  This group has been meeting monthly since January.   The first activity was a concert by Christian Crossing and Lightswitch at RP School; work is in progress to send youth to the National Youth Conference in Kansas City next November etc. etc. Participation in some of these activities will require fees and expenses, so the youth of all three parishes have been planning fund raisers, and and special activities.
