| CHILDREN'S FAITH FORMATION PROGRAM |
The Religious Education program strives to offer parents and their children (grades pre-kindergarten through eighth) an opportunity to learn about and experience the love of God through "Sacred Scripture, tradition, liturgy, teaching, and the life of the Church," as proclaimed by the Second Vatican Council in the Decree on the Bishop's Pastoral Office in the Church. Our curriculum capitalizes on the child's love of stories, arts and crafts, music and video. This process allows the children the opportunity to discover for themselves the presence of the Lord in our own community, where we work, play, laugh, cry, worship and live our Christian lives. Classes are available on Sunday mornings, or Wednesday afternoons for grades pre-kindergarten through eighth. Classes are held weekly from August through April. To register for Religious Education, students' families must be officially registered in the parish. A copy of the child's baptismal certificate must be presented for each student registering in the program for the first time. Tuition for each year is$65.00 for one child, $75.00 for two children and $85.00 for three or more children. In addition, a Sacramental Materials Fee of $50 is required for each child who is preparing to receive either First Communion or Confirmation.
