St. Theresa School at 190 N. Ohio Street, Salem, IL 62881 US - Third and Fourth
Our class heads up some mission projects. Each Friday we have a table set up with items to sell to the other students of the school. We call it the Mission Store and the money we make goes to help missionaries in their work and others who are in need.
The first Friday of each month is Mission T-Shirt Day. The students from the 3rd and 4th grade class collect the dollars from the kids who donate to "get out of uniform" that day!
But the best mission project of all is our annual Desktop Rummage Sale. Every 3rd and 4th grade student brings items in to sell and invite the school and teachers to shop. The students are good "Salesmen" and try hard to make the correct change!

Just a couple of other areas:
Math: We like to dance to multiplication songs and it is a surefire way to remember those facts. Maybe not as exciting, but equally important is mastering long division.
Art: Each year we look forward to spending an afternoon enjoying hobbies and another one working with clay.
Religion: We have a Saints Day where we portray a Saint. Is is hard work researching and writing our speech, but when the day comes we enjoy coming to school dressed up to look like the Saint we studied and talking to others about our holy lives.
We also get to read alot in Mass. It's an important job to read the stories from the bible at the microphone. Father teaches us to become Servers. We are very proud to help him and are respectful at the altar.
