Morning Retreat Evangelization
Deacon Chuck Lewis will hold a morning retreat on Saturday, September 26, beginning with 8 am Mass in the Church. The topic is “Everything you wanted to know about the Mass, but were afraid to ask”. Let’s discover together the richness of our Catholic tradition. Light refreshments will be provided, and the retreat will end promptly at noon. ALL PARISHIONERS ARE WELCOME!
Charismatic Prayer Meeting
The next Charismatic Prayer Meeting will be held on October 6, 2009 at 7 pm and on each subsequent first Tuesday. Bring your heart-felt thanksgiving, praise and petitions to our meeting and honor our dear Lord with song, scripture and prayer.
Searching the Scriptures
Do you feel the desire to grow in Christ, to be transformed to the mind and attitude of Christ? Discover the presence of Jesus in the Word. Be nourished by the Word. Join a group that meets weekly for an hour to reflect on the Scriptures, Wednesdays at 9 a.m. or Tuesdays at 7:15 pm in the Parish Center. Contact Sr. Cecilia at 215.855.3133 for more information.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process of instruction, prayer and community experience that leads to full communion in the Catholic Church. Through the RCIA we hope to share with you our understanding of who God is and how we live out our relationship with God in the Faith Family we call the Catholic Church. Because the RCIA is a process, it does not require a decision today. It is a time for discernment, a time for you to discover more about yourself, your faith and your relationship with God. You may or may not decide to live out this relationship in the Catholic Church. What we offer in the RCIA are the tools for discernment and an opportunity for your own religious growth within a supportive community. RCIA sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from September to May. For information, contact the Parish Center at 215-855-3133.
This group meets quarterly to study Church documents and plan opportunities for to welcoming returning Catholics back to the Faith. Landings is an eight week peer support group for those considering returning to the Faith, who wish to learn about the Church and share their journey.
