To activate and cultivate respect for the sanctity of human life in the parish and surrounding community through prayer, education, advocacy for protection of life, and corporal and spiritual works of mercy for women in crisis pregnancies and their babies. The primary focus is upon abortion. However, it also addresses euthanasia, assisted suicide, and other direct threats to human life, including embryonic stem cell research and human cloning.
The Respect Life Committee meets on the 3nd Wednesday of each month, except June and July. Our meetings are held in the parish library and start at 1:00 p.m., except for January and August, which start at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome.

All high school and middle school teens are invited to St Thomas the Apostle in Ann Arbor to hear renowned Catholic Speaker Jason Evert, on Sunday November 15th. Known for handling sticky topics such as Chastity, Physical Boundaries in Dating, and Theology of the Body– Jason Evert is an engaging and dynamic speaker. Middle School students and their parents are invited to attend his first presentation at 5:00 P.M. in the gymnasium, followed by a pizza buffet in the Parish Hall at 6:15. High School Students are invited to the pizza buffet at 6:15, followed by Jason’s second presentation at 7:00 P.M. in the gymnasium. Each presentation is geared toward the corresponding age group, and of course parents are always welcome.
Suggested donation is $10 per person to help offset costs, and includes pizza. Please RSVP to bgyopko@att.net.
January 24th is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, we will have a Pro Life Mass 10:45 followed by a reception in the parish Hall
