St. Walter - 1st Grade at 11741 S. Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60643 US - Grading Scales

Grading in First Grade is different from other grades.  Student do not recieve letter grades such as A,B,C,D, etc.  Students in First Grade receive a G, S, or N.

G= Good
S= Satisfactory
N= Needs Improvement

Due to the fact that Science and Social Studies mostly involves class participation, every child receives a "S" as long as he/she participates in experiments and class discussions.

Just a reminder that we are on trimesters, so report cards are only given out 3 times a year.
