WHAT: Counseling services for children -- a collaborative effort of the WHY: Children experience conflicts -- with siblings, peers, parents, WHERE: One day a week, in each of the five Parish schools, Daniella

WHO: Children -- and parents -- of the cluster parishes and Daniella
Rondanelli, MSW, a Catholic Charities' Social Worker who is
based at the Glendale Mental Heath Clinic
and sometimes with teachers. They suffer losses through
illness and deaths in families and also through divorce,
re-location, death of pets, etc. They experience stress and
fears as a result of moving to a new class, a new school, or
hearing about terroris attacks, etc. Daniella meets with
children to make assessments, provide crisis
intervention and brief counseling or to give referrals for on-
going treatment. She also provides phone contact with the
parents of children.
