The mission of Sacred Heart is to be a community where people gather as a family under the guidance of the Holy Spirit for worship, education, and support.  Through our belief in Jesus Christ, we will strive  to   foster the faith in all people, especially our youth, and welcome  everyone to come and share our rich Catholic Heritage.

Devotion to the Sacred Heart is not just to the heart of Jesus itself, but to His heart of flesh considered as united to His divinity and as the symbol of His love for us in dying for our redemption:  particularly in reparation for human ingratitude for His goodness and mercy.  We must worship the whole Jesus,  not just the heart itself.
